Rodgers Capital Group (RCG) was established in 1976 as a principal investment and private wealth management company.  As an outgrowth of its principal investing, the merchant banking operation began offering intermediary services to third parties in 1988 focusing on capital formation, mergers and acquisitions, and recapitalizations for emerging growth companies. An affiliated venture capital fund was founded in 1993 and was closed to new investments in 2001 having invested in 25 growth businesses.

The merchant banking and venture capital affiliates have invested in excess of $60 million in numerous companies around the country.
